Terms and Conditions
(1) General Conditions
1. This section outlines the general terms and conditions that are associated with the use of the platform and the rights and obligations of the parties to the agreements in regards to the services provided.
2. It is necessary to read and accept these terms before registering on the platform and benefiting from its services.
3. The requester agrees and declares that he will abide by the rules specified in this Agreement.
4. When filling out the registration form, the student must confirm that he has agreed to these terms and conditions, by putting a “tick” mark in the designated space in the form, as this approval is deemed necessary.
(2) Clarification of terms
1. English Pioneer platform – A service provider which delivers online English lessons to students who seek to learn general English, business English, IELTS or English for university preparation.
2. Website – English Pioneer’s website is www.englishpioneer.com.
3. Service – Educational sessions that allow direct communication between the teacher and the student through a video call over the Internet.
4. The student – the person who benefits from the services provided by English Pioneer’s platform.
5. Adult – a person over the age of 18 who benefits from the platform services.
6. The teacher – the person who provides educational sessions to the student through the English pioneer platform.
7. Registration – the process of joining the platform, which includes filling out the form, attending the introductory session, and paying the subscription fee for the number of course or hours.
8. Content – Data and information on the Website, including text data, images and videos.
(3) Registration and Admission
1. A student can register on the platform only once, using a specific email address and phone number.
2. The student acknowledges that he/she has a valid and effective e-mail address and phone number and is obligated to regularly check his/her e-mail address, and in the event that the e-mail or phone number changes, he/she is obligated to contact the administrative team of English pioneer platform via e-mail to inform the platform immediately of this change.
3. The e-mail address and phone number are associated with the requester’s account, which is how the requester is identified, and this information will be used in all correspondence related to the provision of services.
4. The registration process on the platform consists of three main steps:
– Fill out the registration form:
– The student fills out the registration form available on the website. For this purpose, the following information must be provided: personal information including name, age, gender, nationality, current country of residence, e-mail address and telephone number, information about education and level of academic achievement, and information on reading, writing, listening and speaking level. Then agree to the terms and conditions, privacy policy, and refund policy, and in the end, the student must sign.
– Those who fill out the registration form must be over the age of 18.
– Book an appointment for the introductory session:
– After filling out the registration form and sending it, the student will book an appointment for the introductory session. The aim of this session is to get acquainted with the platform, test the student and measure his/her abilities in speaking and reading to determine his/her level, and thus prepare an appropriate action plan for him/hr. In this session, the student’s questions and inquiries are also answered.
-Pay the subscription fee:
– After reserving an appointment for the introductory session, the course or number of hours subscription fee is paid, as there are three subscription plans available, and the student can choose the appropriate plan for him/her.
(4) Start implementing the agreement
– The implementation of the agreement and the student’s benefit from the services provided by the English pioneer platform begins after completing all the registration steps mentioned earlier.
(5) Requester
1. English pioneer platform welcomes students over the age of 18 who wish to either improve their general English, business English, IELTS score or prepare for university admission.
(6) Learning stages
The learning stages on English pioneer platform are divided into six stages in association with the general English course.
-Beginner level
-Elementary level
-Pre-intermediate level
-Intermediate level
-Upper intermediate level
-Advanced
Each stage takes approximately 60 hours to complete, and the student has options to purchase a designated number of hours. A minimum of ten hours must be purchased by the student and there are other hour options available for selection. If a student were to start from a beginner’s level to an advanced level, it would take the student around 12 months to complete the entire general English course if the student completes each level within 8 weeks.
The duration can be determined more accurately in the first sessions, as the teacher becomes clear to the student’s abilities, and thus an educational plan is drawn up that suits him.
The student has full freedom to complete all the stages or to be satisfied with only a certain number of hours, and this matter is due to the goal that the student sets for himself/herself. We at English pioneer platform advise the student to complete at least 30 hours of a level. The student will make a decision after the trial lesson whether he/she would like to take on 30 hours of lessons as recommended by us, or to purchase another payment option.
(7) Educational sessions
1. Educational sessions on the English pioneer platform are provided throughout the week including Saturdays and Sundays. The student decides when to book lessons during the week. Each session takes approximately 55 minutes.
– For students who wish to achieve the maximum benefit and reduce the price of their educational plans, they are encouraged to subscribe to the plan of 60 hours over 8 weeks, which is equivalent to 7.5 hours a week.
– For those who are unable to commit to 60 hours over an 8-week timespan, they can subscribe to a designated number of hours and complete the course at their pace.
2. The student is required to provide the appropriate environment and technical requirements for the educational session.
3. English pioneer platform has the right to record educational sessions and use these recordings to serve the platform’s work. Examples of such uses include evaluating the quality of the session, evaluating the teacher’s performance, publishing some recordings on the platform’s website or on the platform’s accounts on social networking sites.
4. The student must be ready at the specified session time.
5. If the student is late to attend the session at the specified time, the delay period will be deducted from the actual session time, and the student cannot compensate the lesson.
6. If the teacher is unable to provide one or more educational sessions, it is either provided by a substitute teacher at the same specified times, or dates are set for compensatory sessions, in coordination between the main teacher and the student.
7. English pioneer platform is not responsible for compensating a student’s session in case of an unjustified absence and not informing the platform of this absence in advance.
8. In cases of student absences due to illness, the student must provide the platform with a medical report from a family doctor.
9. In the case of an annual family leave, the student must inform the platform in advance of the date and duration of the leave.
(8) Follow-up and evaluation
1. English pioneer platform relies on following up and evaluating the student on a daily basis, so that in each educational session there are grades that the student obtains based on a number of criteria.
2. The learning system on the English pioneer platform is based on a cumulative and sequential system. The student cannot skip a lesson without the evaluation of the last lesson from good to excellent.
3. Students can follow their achievements on a daily basis through the student’s account on the applications and programs used.
4. At the end of each month, the student gets a general assessment for the previous month, and at the end of each stage he/she gets a general assessment for the stage.
(9) Communication with the teacher
1. Communication between the teacher and the student takes place under the supervision of the platform and with the official means of communication that the platform gives to the student and the teacher, such as an email address, a mobile number, or any other means of communication. The student or teacher has no right to request personal means of communication from the other party without the platform’s knowledge of that.
2. If the student has an inquiry or a question about a matter related to a session, he/she is to communicate with the teacher.
3. If there are any notes or complaints from the student about the teacher, communication is with the platform management.
(10) Technical requirements
1. To benefit from the platform services in the best possible quality, the student must provide the following technical requirements:
Desktop or laptop computer.
– External or built-in webcam, with HD resolution (most laptops have a built-in webcam).
Headphones with microphone.
Internet connection speed of at least 4 to 8 megabytes/second.
2. It is preferable to attend the sessions from a desktop computer or laptop, to obtain the best educational experience. If this is not available, a phone or tablet can be used, bearing in mind that using a computer increases the efficiency of the educational session.
3. Minimum computer specifications:
Processor: i3 / 6th generation
– Random memory: RAM 4GB
Operating System: Windows 8 / MAC OS 10.10x
4. The student must check the performance of the internet connection, microphone, and camera so that they are all working well, before starting the educational sessions.
(11) The rights and obligations of the English pioneer platform
1. English pioneer platform has the following responsibilities:
Providing its services with the best possible quality.
Solving the problems that prevent the student from benefiting from these services.
Choosing the appropriate teacher for the student, according to the student’s level and abilities.
2. User platform has the following rights:
Temporarily stop providing its services for reasons of maintenance, changes in the system, or matters beyond its control.
– Sending messages to the student’s email address about the platform, the services provided, or any new features that may be available on the platform.
– Canceling the subscriptions of students whose actions violate the agreed terms and conditions.
(12) Privacy
If you were provided by the platform with a username, password, or any other private information, we guarantee privacy for it, and the platform has the right to use all this information within its scope only. You must treat this information as confidential information. Accordingly, it is forbidden to disclose it to any other person.
(13) Intellectual property rights
English pioneer platform owns all intellectual property rights to the content of its website and trademark. All these rights are reserved and protected. You may not use the name and trademark or any content of the site without obtaining permission to do so.
(14) Evacuation responsibilities
1. English pioneer platform is not responsible for the technical problems of the student that prevent him from benefiting from the services of the platform.
2. English pioneer is not responsible for the interruption in the provision of the service due to an event that cannot be foreseen and the consequences of which cannot be prevented. It is obligated to inform the requester of the interruption in providing the service and the reasons for it.
(15) Complaints and suggestions
1. English pioneer platform seeks to provide its services with the best possible quality, and always seeks to develop, solve student problems, listen to suggestions, and meet needs within the available capabilities.
2. The student has the right to complain about the service provided by the English pioneer platform, and to submit suggestions for improving and developing the work system.
3. This complaint must include the student’s information, a description of the situation that caused the complaint, and suggestions for resolving this problem, if possible.
(16) Termination of the agreement
1. The student has the right to terminate the relationship and stop benefiting from the platform services at any time, without giving any reason if he/she wishes to do so. He/she has the right to request the removal of his/her personal information from the private data of the English pioneer platform.
2. In order to terminate the relationship, the student must fill out the termination form available on the platform’s website on the subscription policy page, and the platform management will communicate with the student to complete the termination process.
(17) Modification of terms and conditions
1. We may amend the terms and conditions at any time for reasons related to changes in the applicable system, technical developments in the platform, or other reasons that the English pioneer platform finds important, so please review these terms and conditions permanently. Changes and clarifications will be effective immediately upon their posting on the Site. If we make material changes to these terms and conditions, the platform management will contact the student via e-mail to be aware of this amendment.
2. The student who does not accept these amendments to the terms and conditions has the right to terminate the relationship with the platform.
