All you need is a laptop or a computer with a stable internet connection, a web cam and audio. No specific software or downloads are required and everything else is provided by us.

The tracking of progress and engagement can also be carried out through the recording of sessions, which can be emailed to you at your request.

It depends on the type of course that the student requests and the duration of the learning period. The price also differs if the lessons are with a group or 1-to-1. The flexibility that we provide allows you to take up as much sessions as you immediately need or enroll in an ordinary monthly subscription at your pace. The available options include paying per lesson or subscribing to a certain course over a designated period. No long-term financial commitments are ever enforced upon you. Once we receive a succinct idea of your needs, we will allocate the most suitable package for you.
Absolutely. We offer a free trial lesson to any student who wishes to get familiar with the platform, and you can book as many or as little sessions as you like without the restriction to any long-term commitments. However, it is important to note that the first lesson will mainly involve familiarity between you and the tutor, understanding your needs and introducing you to the content. The upcoming lessons will be more content-focused and aimed towards language progress. Therefore, one trial lesson will be adequate for designing your learning path and English pioneer never enforces limited enrolment options to its clients.

Initially, we request you to sit a placement test to determine your level. Once that test has been completed, we get you to book a trial lesson with a tutor to further confirm your level and provide you with an outline of your areas of focus and needs.
It depends on your availability. Also, depending on your learning needs and academic level, we recommend enrolling in at least two or three sessions a week to maintain your learning pace at a progressive rate. This would allow you to remain focused and not leave a long gap between lessons, which could cause your knowledge to be lost.
Your tutor will send you detailed feedback after each session highlighting where you made mistakes, how you could improve your language and what was covered throughout the session. This feedback will remain as a great resource for you to review in your free time whenever you like, to grant you an opportunity to learn from your mistakes and make constant improvements. In addition, all of the session recordings will be sent to you along with the feedback attached to them, so that you would have access to them any time you like.
Our tutor selection process is based on a certain set of requirements. Each English Pioneer tutor must hold a university degree majoring in either English literature, linguistics, education, or a field that is relevant. Apart from only holding a university degree, a teaching certificate is required, along with at least two years of teaching experience. Tutors also need to pass several stages of training before getting onboard. Therefore, we ensure that the best is selected for assisting our students in their success.
Although English Pioneer does not provide its students with a certification to pursue further studies at university, English Pioneer trains its students for undertaking the Oxford test of English, which is offered at authorized test centers worldwide. This Oxford test of English will allow you to prove to universities that you scored a decent grade in English, which will in turn entitle you to enter a course at university that is delivered in English.
We prefer to keep the same tutor each session to ensure consistency. When tutors often change, this causes a delay in the learning pace as the new tutor would need to build a new rapport with the student all over again. However, in case the availability of the tutor or the student changes, we’ll automatically match the student with another tutor and update the tutor on the student’s progress.
